I think that sock looks very pretty! I like the greens and grays! Yes I agree, knitted socks are some of the most comfortable things on the planet! I don’t knit much myself because I am easily bored with the foot, (I like the shaping parts), but I have made a pair (with some help from my mom) and I love them!
