Well I am a little nervous about turning the heel of my sock so I started an easy project with some leftover Malabrigo Worsted Merino a minute ago. I am making Plain ‘Ole Fingerless Mitts which you can find the pattern for free here http://www.hartandsole.net/knit_me/Fingerless%20mitts.pdf. I found the pattern of Ravelry while looking for something to use my leftover Malabrigo from the scarf I made for my sister for Christmas. I am just hoping that I have enough to make them with. Here is a picture of what I have gotten done so far. Its not much but at least I will have something to work on if I get frustrated with turning the heel in my socks.
